Casa Luna is an exceptional apartment, fully renovated in 2018, situated in the heart of the vibrant town of Rethymno. This second-floor apartment boasts a comprehensive range of modern amenities and features a minimalist and sophisticated decor. It offers a long balcony at the front and a generously sized, partially covered veranda at the back, fully furnished for dining, relaxation, and even sunbathing, complete with sunbeds. This is a superior quality apartment, very comfortable and well-equipped, and within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. It's great to have the large roof-top terrace, including the shaded outdoor table.

Rethymno is a very good location on Crete if you have a car as many attractions on the island are within comfortable day trips. The beaches on the south coast 40 minutes south are great. But the city itself is lively with a good mix of locals and tourists. I appreciated the ability to have a credit on my 2020 booking that was cancelled due to Covid. Service through the contact centre and chat was excellent. |

I stayed for 2 weeks but there was no cleaning nor change of sheets / towels during this time. The information in the apartment had indicated that cleaning would take place every 3 days unless I opted out one time would have been OK.

I only managed to get Greek TV channels even though the TV guide lists hundreds. Would be better with other language options. Not a big problem as the internet works very well. |
