Petasos Villa 2 is a newly constructed villa located on the outskirts of Sellia village in Crete, just a short drive from the popular tourist destinations of Souda Bay and Plakias. These areas offer a wide range of amenities and stunning sandy beaches. Within a mere 200 meters from the villa, you'll find a couple of charming taverns and supermarkets, while the beautiful beaches of Souda Bay and Plakias are just a 7-minute drive down the hill.
Petasos Villa boasts a generous 80 sqm of space, comprising 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor, you'll discover a double bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a double-bed, along with an en-suite bathroom featuring a large shower and WC. An external staircase leads to the upper floor, where a second bedroom, a spacious shower/WC, and a lovely open-plan living and dining area seamlessly connect to a fully equipped modern kitchen. This level features large French windows that open to a spacious veranda, complete with patio furniture and breathtaking views of the Libyan Sea and the surrounding area.
The villa also features a 25 sqm private swimming pool with an attached kids' pool and a shaded area (pergola) housing a barbecue and outdoor furniture – perfect for enjoying your meals al fresco. The property is fully air-conditioned and offers free WiFi and satellite TV, and it includes its own parking area.
Plakias is a coastal settlement located in southern Crete, 40 kilometers south of Rethymno. It is home to 237 permanent residents and is situated in a picturesque cove along a magnificent sandy beach that stretches for 1300 meters between the capes of Stavros and Kako Mouri. This beach is perfect for swimming and water sports enthusiasts. Plakias is divided between the municipalities of Selia in the western part and Mirthios in the eastern part, both of which are charming villages not far from Plakias.
The first recorded mention of Plakias was in the 1961 census when it had only six fishermen as permanent inhabitants. The natural beauty of the area has transformed Plakias into a renowned tourist destination that offers all the amenities a visitor could desire. Man muss akzeptieren, dass die Unterkunft 2 Etagen hat, die nur durch eine Aussentreppe verbunden sind. Ansonsten alles modern, sehr sauber und vollständig eingerichtet. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns 2 Wochen lang mit 4 Personesee more

Ein Reinigungsservice hat nur auf Nachfrage stattgefunden. Dafür haben wir nach einigen Tagen morgens sehr früh eine Anfrage an den "Poolboy" gerichtet.
Einige Reinigungstabletten für die Spülmaschine und ein frischer Spülschwamm, wären hilfreich.

Einige Reinigungstabletten für die Spülmaschine und ein frischer Spülschwamm, wären hilfreich. Der Außenbereich ist trist und könnte so schön sein, wenn er begrünt wäre statt ein Schotterparkplatz. Ein größerer Tisch auf dem Balkon im Obergeschoß wäre schön gewesen, um auch jetzt im Herbst draußen zu frühstücken. Dass das zweite Schlafzimmer nur über eine Außentreppe zu erreichen ist, läßt sich natürlich nicht mehr ändern, es ist aber befremdlich! |
